What We Collect
When you book a room
- Your name, email address, phone number and country
- Your dates, room choice and number of guests
- Anything you write in Special Requests, such as your flight number for the airport pick-up
When you contact us
By email, phone or the contact form: your name, contact details and your message.
When you stay with us
Your passport or ID details at check-in, and the details of your bill.
When you visit the website
Basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our hosting provider records this automatically to keep the site secure and working.
We don't ask for card details online. You pay at the hotel.
Why We Use It
- To make, confirm and manage your booking
- To arrange your airport pick-up
- To answer your questions and contact you about your stay
- To check you in and prepare your bill
- To keep records that Maldivian law requires, such as tax and guest records
- To keep the website secure and fix problems
We won't send you marketing emails unless you've asked us to.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. We use only the cookies the site needs to work, for example to remember your dates while you book. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use analytics tools.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and some photos from Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons. When your browser loads these, the companies can see your IP address. They don't receive your booking details.
How Long We Keep It
- Booking and stay records: for as long as Maldivian tax and accounting rules require, then they are deleted.
- Messages: for as long as we need them to answer your question, and no longer than two years.
- Technical logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short time, usually a few weeks.
How We Keep It Safe
The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Only the people who need your information to look after your booking can see it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your Choices
You can ask us to:
- see the information we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law
- stop using it for a particular purpose

Children
Bookings must be made by an adult aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect information from children, except the details of children staying with their family on a booking.
